Earlier this month, a letter was delivered to the House Ways & Means Committee that calls for support for clean energy and laid out how existing tax incentives have brought hundreds of thousands of jobs and growth to the economy. The federal tax credit for solar is 30 percent until the end of 2019. It then drops to 26 percent in 2020, and 22 percent in 2021.
In addition, the letter highlights the importance of investing in clean energy to help the environment and boost infrastructure.
