Aztec Solar CEO and President, Ed Murray, has been reelected to lead the California Solar and Storage Association (CALSSA), an advocate for the smart deployment of local clean energy solutions.

CALSSA also supports a wide variety of businesses that are focused on building a future with better energy options in rural communities throughout California.

Through policy development, education, advocacy and business services, the association stays active in pushing forward an agenda that puts the environment first.

We are extremely pleased and excited that Ed will resume his leadership role and provide a clear vision in the quest for universal clean energy by championing the values shared within the solar industry.

Ed has been working hard to preserve and develop the solar industry since 1978. He’s played a significant role in the formulation of legislation and policy advocacy on solar-related issues at the state and federal level. He often testifies on the importance of solar energy and related issues before the state Legislature, California Energy Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission.

In addition to his role as president of CALSSA, Ed chairs the Solar Heating and Cooling Division for SEIA (Solar Energy Industries Association) and serves on the Consumer Protection Committee, Election Committee and Federal Policy Committee. Ed is on the NABCEP board of directors and has been a board member of SEIA since 2011.

Aztec Solar stands proudly with CALSSA and shares its values and priorities. We strongly believe that renewable energy is the future of this country and planet. And in these strategic partnerships, we can further advance an array of goals that will make solar energy more accessible and affordable to everyone who wants to take part in this vital green energy movement.

For more than four decades, Aztec Solar has remained steadfast in its commitment to meet the energy needs of homeowners, businesses and other entities in California.

Under Ed’s leadership, Aztec Solar delivers award-winning customer service and industry-leading solar products to meet the energy needs of residential and commercial customers.

With more than 10,000 customers across Northern California, we remain the solar leader and provider of solar applications that save our customers money and pave the way for a brighter and cleaner future.
